FAQ
*What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a comprehensive, non-invasive inspection to determine the general condition of a house, with special detail paid to certain items such as the roof, electrical, plumbing and structure.
*Why do I need a home inspection?
Buying a home is one of the largest investments you will ever make and it only makes sense to protect that investment. A home inspection will tell you before you buy of potential problems, problems that could cost you thousands of extra dollars. You wouldn't buy a used car without checking it out, or have major surgery without a second opinion, and in terms of money, these pale in comparison to the purchase of a home.
*How do I choose an inspector?
The main criteria are the qualifications of the inspector you hire. If he or she belongs to a recognized organization such as NACHI, you can be assured of their qualifications.
*What is NACHI?
NACHI is an acronym for the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED HOME INSPECTORS. It is one of the largest and most widely respected such organizations in the world and is committed to promoting only the highest degree of ethics and standards of practice possible. They only certify inspectors that meet their high standards of competence and that adhere strictly to their CODE OF ETHICS and to their STANDARDS OF PRACTICE.
*There are many NACHI certified inspectors, why should I choose you?
As we said, the first consideration should be the qualifications of the inspector. You will receive only the highest quality from any NACHI inspector you choose. However, you should also consider price, get the quality inspection you need and deserve, but at the lowest price. We offer the lowest prices in the industry.
*Why do your prices vary from one place to another?
Travel time, gasoline expenses; these are part of the reason. Even with these variables, if you will shop and compare, you will still find that we charge significantly less for the area where you are buying. |
